For a fresher, a CV may be of 2 – 3 pages and for experienced, it may reach up to 10 pages.

Curriculum Vitae (CV)

Resume
Resume Layout can be of three different types, which are chronological format, functional format and Combination format. The chronological format is the most commonly used across several industries. Employers usually prefer to have resumes in this format as it gives them your overview. Functional format of resume is not much recommended, but in few cases like a person who has gaps in their work history. Combination format of resume is the combination of chronological and functional resumes. In this type of resume, the headings would be based upon the skills rather than specific titles.

Curriculum Vitae (CV)
A Curriculum Vitae also differs in the layout than that of a resume. Moreover, CV varies depending on the field in which the candidate has experience. One can follow a number of formats while creating a CV. Not all CV looks exactly the same. You decide which section you need to include in your CV and maintain a uniform format.
